The 12-station
units consist of an 8-station chassis with an in-line Rosbach
chopper
attached to a 4-station trailer section. The
"choppers" are basically in-line guillotines that
can remove the back spine from a booklet to create individual
pieces. This allows for 50+ inserts. The
Rosbach units can simply be disengaged or removed when not
needed. The trailer sections can easily be removed and
attached to trailers on other machines to create longer
inserting lines in multiples of four.
